I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (lic# 82923).  I have been working in the mental health field since 2003, and in that time I have worked with a broad range of individuals, couples, families, and children to help improve their lives. From lawyers and CEOs to abused children and struggling college students to inmates in county jail, I am and have been a support to every kind of person who is ready to author their own destiny. I have extensive experience working with adult individuals with severe mood and thought disorders, and in providing meaningful support and education to their family members and loved ones. I have helped many individuals and families learn to cope with and overcome the experiences and impacts of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, relationship friction, sleep disturbance, communication problems, emotional reactivity, midlife crises, existential dread, and dozens of other issues, both big and small.

I have lived and worked in Santa Barbara for more than a decade, and have become very familiar with the many of the resources available in this community. If you don’t know where to start, please give me a call and I can help you figure out which of these resources might be a good fit for you and your situation.

If you have any questions about me, my practice, my accreditation, or anything else, I try my best to be an open-book human being – please ask! I offer a free 30-minute consultation to potential new clients so we can be sure that we are a good fit for one another, but we can start getting acquainted even before we meet face to face. Give me a call or write me a message now!
